I know I have been posting less regularly lately. But I claim insanity. I am crazy about getting through the Twilight books and can’t seem to put them down when I have some free time.
It all started with a friend pleading with me to read the first book. Her husband had finally asked her to stop talking about the book and the characters and she needed an outlet. And I’d told her I wouldn’t watch the DVD with her until I read the book (I am weird like that). I’d been saying I would read it for a while and finally I relented and put a stake in the ground. So last Monday we planned for a Saturday movie night. I finished Twilight by Wednesday.
She asked when I would catch up to her (she’d finished book 2) because she wanted to talk “what’s next.” I replied with my usual quirkiness that I wouldn’t start the next book until after the movie so I didn’t go into the movie knowing “more”.
I then started New Moon on Sunday night. And I finished it last night. Hence, here I am until I start Eclipse.
Anyone else out there addicted to the Twilight series?
